Bio:
Lawrence Buentello is a writer and poet living in San Antonio, Texas. His fiction and poetry have appeared in numerous publications, including The Wallace Stevens Journal, Avocet, The Storyteller, Zahir, The Writer’s Journal, Paradigm, New Works Review, Murky Depths, Afterburn SF, M-Brane SF, Andromeda Spaceways In-Flight Magazine, and many, many others.
A literary generalist, he enjoys writing in a variety of genres, from mainstream to science fiction, and every form between.
He is the author of the short story collection Ghosts of the American Dream, the novel South of the Moon, and a representative collection of poetry Metaphysics. He is also the co-author (along with his brother, John Buentello) of the short story collection Binary Tales and the novel Reproduction Rights.
When not enjoying life with his wife, Susan, he spends the majority of his time reading and writing. A born bibliophile, he has worked in libraries for most of his adult life, and is currently employed by a large academic library in San Antonio.
